The capstone of this year's activities at Klub Filary was the summer camp. On June 27th a group of 70 girls, ages 9 to 12, along with their mentors went to Poronin, a picturesque city located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.
During the camp the participants had an opportunity to develop various talents and abilities thanks to the workshop sessions that were held. These included dance, theatre, arts and crafts. There were also several hiking trips, during which the girls could discover the beauty of the Tatra Mountains and feel the satisfaction of reaching the top of mountain summit.
The camp also gave them the opportunity to deepen already existing friendships and to make new friends. This was facilitated by daily get-togethers in smaller groups with their mentors as well as the evening meetings with the other campers, during which they could also share their talents.
